Our journey with Bellway Homes on the Ardath Road site, The Oaks, is coming close to the end. From initial planning in 2016, instruction in 2017, piling commencing in 2018, to residents moving in in 2020, we have thoroughly enjoyed watching this site mature.
Our appointment was to provide civil and structural engineering work packages, including piling arrangement drawings for construction on site and to meet all building regulation approvals.
With 171 detached, semi-detached, terrace houses and apartments, the regeneration of derelict land into a flourishing residential area was at the forefront of everyone’s mind.
With the preservation of the dense woodland, home to many species of birds and bats, with the planting of additional trees and the introduction of bird and bat boxes, the ecological value of this vacant site has increased immensely.
